Growing in its original nursery row, this sturdy Burbank hybrid bears smooth, yellow, waxy-skin fruit of about the size and shape of a mango. Edible when ripened and cooked, used in jellies, jams and chutney, they can finish ripening off the tree and will fill the air with a strong aromatic fragrance indoors.
