MARQUEES ON MAIN: Sebastopol Movie Memorabilia

The West County Museum is proudly presented its Fall 1999 exhibition Marquees on Main curated by Rick Hardina. This current exhibit featured memorabilia from Sebastopol's early theaters, the movies, and vaudeville presentations. Vintage films were shown on video.

This carbon-arc unit was actually discovered in the Analy Furniture Store across the street
from the museum in 1998.

Some of the Museum's collection of photos and artifacts of movies and theaters in Sebastopol. Early to middle 20th century saw movies very popular in the town.
